Keynote Address

Our keynote address took place at 7PM in room B101 at the Abbotsford UFV campus. We were so thrilled to be able to invite two Governor General’s Award-winning authors to headline the Fraser Valley Writers Festival:

• Lorna Crozier: A renowned poet and Officer of the Order of Canada. Lorna Crozier delivered a keynote address, sharing insights from her work After That. The audience was brought to tears!

• Darrel J. McLeod: An acclaimed Cree novelist, memoirist, and former land claims negotiator, Darrel J. McLeod also delivered a keynote address, discussing his book A Season in Chezgh’un. Darrel easily made the crowd laugh!
